ATM abbr. เครื่องฝากถอนเงินอัตโนมัติ
Automatic Teller Machine
It costs 20 baht to withdraw money from an ATM in Thailand.
balance n. ยอดเงินเหลือ  Nok went to the bank to check the balance in her checking account.
bankbook n. สมุดเงินฝากธนาคาร A bankbook is needed to withdraw money.
banknote n: ธนบัตร Thai 100 baht banknotes are red.
bill n. ธนบัตร Many stores do not like to take large bills.
branch n. สาขา Many Thai banks have branches in every province.
cash n. เงินสด I do not like to carry cash because I am afraid it will be stolen.
checkbook n. สมุดเช็ค Sittipong could not pay for the order because he forgot his checkbook.
checking account n. เงินฝากธนาคารที่สามารถใช้เช็คถอนได้ Many people in Thailand now have a checking account because it is an easy way to pay bills.

currency n. เงินตรา The yen is the currency in Japan.
debt n. หนี้สิน Many businessmen in Thailand have large debts.
deposit v. ฝากเงิน

The shop owner deposits money into his account on Monday morning.
exchange rate n. อัตราแลกเปลี่ยนเงินตรา The exchange rate between the baht and dollar is no longer fixed.
invest v.  ลงทุน Many people in Thailand invest in the stock market..
investment n. การลงทุน George has a large investment in the new  company.
teller n. พนักงานธนาคารที่มีหน้าที่รับ-จ่ายเงิน The teller updated my bank book.
transaction n. ธุรกิจการค้า การดำเนินการ Bank transactions are instant because of the use of computers.
withdraw v. ถอนเงิน
Sally went to the bank to withdraw money for the weekend.
withdrawal n. การถอนเงิน Somchai made a withdrawal from his account to pay his bills.
abbr. = abbreviation คำย่อ n. = noun คำนาม
v. = verb   คำกริยา
