Question

คำว่า  matter  ต่างกับ important   อย่างไร
และทั้งสองคำนี้ใช้แตกต่างกันอย่างไร

Answer

"Matter" is a verb when used in the way you refer to.
Examples: It doesn't matter to me MEANS it is not "important" to me.
His family really matters to him--->His family is "important" to him.

"Important" is an adjective.

The main difference is how they are used in sentences. As far as meaning,
they are nearly the same.

"Important" would be a little stronger word.
